Lets just call it searching for houses week. And getting to know that Simon is a complete turd but I do laugh lots.
Oh also discovering that exchange students aren’t supposed to take a media degree. HA HA; that was a fun one. Anyway I soon got that sorted.
FREE BBQS AND BUY ONE GET ONE FREE FOOD WERE ALSO A HIGHLIGHT.
I also went on art gallery tour, (see I’m barely drinking and ding cultural things!!) which had lots of aboriginal art and we got the history of it which was really interesting. Went to a couple of inductions but a lot seemed to be aimed at students with lets say limited English skills and were fairly patronising. Also to people who had never been away from home before, to any other country than their own, etc. A fair amount of people seemed to think I was Australian too, so questioned why I was even there! Oh well, at least I tried!
